Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker!
Dancers' Corner has hosted the Moscow Ballet Great Russian Nutcracker since 2016. It is a great experience for all involved!

Rehearsal Attire
Dancers should wear a black leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet slippers - dance skirts are optional. Dancers with pointe shoes should bring them to the audition. Hair should be in a proper ballet bun at the back of the head without a bun maker or large donut bun. If you need assistance with a bun, please bring a brush, pony tail holders, bobby pins and/or hair pins and a hair net with you.
ALL dancers MUST be available for rehearsals on audition weekend and up to the show date.
The following roles are available.
Party children (up to 14 dancers)
Mice (up to 10 dancers)
Snow Maidens (up to 12 dancers)
Snow Sprites (2 - 4 dancers)
Snowflakes (up to 14 dancers)
French variation (2 younger dancers)
All Spanish variations (2 younger dancers and 2 older dancers)
All Chinese variations (2 younger dancers and 2 older dancers)
All Russian variations (2 younger dancers and 2 or 4 older dancers)
Arabian variation (2 older dancers)
Rehearsals will continue through December on Friday afternoon/evenings and Sunday afternoon/evenings.
**All Sunday rehearsals will be scheduled around Ballet Arkansas' Nutcracker rehearsals.
Dancers MUST be available for all rehearsals, no exceptions will be made. Only two excused absences are allowed from weekly rehearsals from October 4 - December 20. No rehearsals will be held on Thanksgiving weekend. Exceptions will be made for participation in Ballet Arkansas' Nutcracker performances, December 13 & 15. The final mandatory rehearsal will be held on Friday, December 20.
Performances: Thursday, December 26, 3:00 and 7:00pm
