Sarah Horton
Choreographer & Instructor
Mrs. Sarah began dancing at the age of 10 and studied Classical Ballet under Antonio Mesa in Little Rock. She danced in many full ballet productions and danced many roles, including the Swan corps, Spanish and Hungarian variations in Swan Lake, Fairy soloist in Sleeping Beauty, Queen of Dryads and Gypsy soloist in Don Quixote, a soloist in Giselle, and part of the corps in Coppelia. She also had the opportunity to dance excerpts from Les Sylphide, Carmen, and the Nutcracker, as well as learning character pieces from A Chorus Line and Spanish folk dance. Mrs. Sarah began teaching young ballet classes at Mr. Antonio's studio as a Junior in high school and continued through her college years at Hendrix. She was also a member of the dance group while attending Hendrix.
Mrs. Sarah attended high school with Mrs. Sandy & Mrs. Erica at Mount Saint Mary Academy, and college at Hendrix. She is a CPA and the mother of four children, ranging in age from 4 to 9. Mrs. Sarah joined the teaching staff of Dancers' Corner during the 2013 - 2014 season and teaches Ballet to company classes as well as combination classes for younger students. We are thrilled she will continue teaching with us!
